During my 3rd visit in Tarawa & staying for 21 nights from the 14/02/13 to 07/03/13. I was staying at TAD'S GUESTHOUSE & the accommodation is only a 5 min's drive away from the Airport, with only two flights per week with AIR-PACIFIC on their BOEING 737-700 AIRCRAFT, Flight schedule are on Mondays & Thursdays & only a 3 hour direct flight from Nadi, this certainly is one of the highlights for many of the local people viewing the arrivals & departures, the departure flight leaves Nadi at 5am & 8am arrival into Tarawa, the departure time back to Nadi should be 9am, however these flights rarely leave on time & my flight departing Tarawa on the 07/03/13 was delayed for over 3 hours & missed my connecting flight back to Sydney Australia. Stayed in Nadi for one night [expense to the airline] &...
SUBSCRIBE: http://www.youtube.com/c/VicStefanu - Let's view the landing of a Boeing 737 in the Republic of Kiribati, in the central Pacific Ocean and more specifically at the tarawa Atoll of Kiribati. This was 3 hour flight from Fiji to Kiribati with Fiji Airways. Vic Stefanu, firstname.lastname@example.org
FIJI AIRWAYS LANDING AT BONRIKI AIRPORT TARAWA ,KIRIBATI
A comfortable return flight back to Tarawa after spending one night in this outer-island of Kiribati & approximately a 40 min's flight returning to Bonriki International Airport in Tarawa the capital of Kiribati, flight return on AIR-KIRIBATI on the 1st March 2013. You will notice OUR AIRLINE at the end of the video clip at Bonriki Airport arrived 4 days later after my flight booking to the Marshall Islands was cancelled at the last minute from Tarawa on the 25/02/13 due to technical problems & the aircraft still in Brisbane, I wasn't able to re-book due to my length of time here in Tarawa & OUR AIRLINE flight schedules.
Nadi International Airport (NAN/NFFN) is Fiji's main international airport and is the main base for Fiji Airways, the country's national airline. The airport is located 10km from Nadi. The international terminal departure hall features some duty-free shops and a food court. Thank you for watching this experience of Nadi International Airport International Departure Hall on FlightTravels. Vic Stefanu, email@example.com. Kiribati, officially the Republic of Kiribati is an island nation in the central Pacific Ocean. The nation comprises 33 atolls and reef islands and one raised coral island; Banaba
A short video clip around BETIO in Tarawa between the 14/02/13 to 07/03/13, throughout my 21 day stay i was able to get out & about in my hired vehicle.

Spent a few occasions at the Airport filming the flight arrivals & departures during my 3rd visit in Tarawa & staying for 21 nights from the 14/02/13 to 07/03/13. Checking in at 2am for my 5am direct flight to Tarawa in Kiribati, flying with Air-Pacific on a Boeing 737-700, flight duration 3 hours direct & arriving at 8am. This was my third visit to Tarawa as a tourist, first visit in 2010 & again in 2011 & of course this year, Kiribati is a very remote isolated Atoll in the middle of the pacific. In 2010 I had the opoturnity to visit Christmas Island in kiribati & that's even more isolated & not so hot as Tarawa.
Tarawa towards airport and north island
Loooooook at this colour of the ocean and sky !
This runway is situated on the main atoll of Tarawa in Kiribati and can only handle aircraft up to the size of a 737 due to limits on the land area. It is not fenced off so you can actually go right up to the end of the runway to film the planes coming over your head!
Throughout my holiday in Tarawa between the 14/02/13 to the 07/03/13 I would often drive down to the airport & witness the daily activity with the local people either walking around or sitting & relaxing on the airport runway, appears to be a regular meeting place for some locals caching up with the gossip, younger people playing sporty games, cyclists, motor scooters & skate boarders, also a great oppoturnity viewing the beautiful sunsets, making conversation with some locals, watching a few late flight arrivals with AIR KIRIBATI, watching the local buses speeding their way along the runway. Some locals bathing & swimming in the ocean & finally myself driving down the entire length of the runway. I can't help thinking I'd never be allowed to do this back home & living so close to Sydney A...
It's Thursday morning on the 7th March 2013 at 6am, checking in early for my 9am flight departure from Tarawa to Nadi, flying with Air-Pacific on a Boeing 767-700, checked in as normal with plenty of confusion & slow pace at the check-in counter, & not one fan working in the departure terminal, paid my AUD $20- Departure Tax. Then went back outside watching the aircraft land & just basically killing time with the odd conversation with other tourists & hotel staff [ free transfer to the airport ], like myself & many other passengers we are hoping to depart on time for 9am. Many of us were surprised to be boarding the aircraft at 8:30am, anyway within a few minutes we were all sweating & dripping from perspiration we were informed from the captain that there was a problem with the air-condit...
